[Financial News] Cuckoo is launching emergency support for residents in special disaster areas affected by heavy rains.
Cuckoo announced on the 24th that it will provide emergency services such as free repairs and product exchanges for customers affected by flood damage in six areas, including Gyeonggi Gapyeong and Chungnam Yesan, which the government has declared as special disaster areas due to heavy rain damage.
In the affected areas, free repairs will be provided if appliances are submerged and malfunction due to heavy rain. Rental products will be exchanged even if repairs are difficult or the product is lost. Products that can be repaired will receive free repair services. For products with expired rental periods, material costs will be supported for free.
For one-time purchase products, free repair services will be provided only for products within the warranty period. If repair is not possible, the product will be exchanged. For one-time purchase products that are out of warranty, material costs will be supported for free if the product is retained.
Even if the area is not declared a special disaster area, additional support services will be applied through separate procedures for customers who have suffered damage equivalent to other special disasters.
A Cuckoo representative said, "We decided on emergency support such as free repair and exchange of submerged appliances so that residents in areas affected by heavy rain can quickly return to their daily lives."
