Need to Respond Flexibly to Environmental Changes
[Financial News] Kibo Technology Guarantee Fund announced on the 24th that it held the '2025 2nd Management Strategy Workshop' at its headquarters in Busan to prepare measures to foster future strategic industries and support companies affected by heavy rain.
This workshop was prepared to review the current status of Kibo and explore future strategies ahead of the announcement of the current government's national tasks.
At the event, Kibo conducted presentations and discussions on topics such as △New government policy directions and response strategies △Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) business promotion status and corporate succession M&A support strategies △K-taxonomy self-diagnosis system for supporting small and medium-sized enterprises' carbon neutrality △Special guarantee rapid support measures for companies affected by heavy rain △Latest technology trends in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and startup ecosystem support directions.
In May, Kibo launched AI and AI Transition (AX) preferential guarantees to strengthen support for future strategic industries such as AI, semiconductors, and carbon neutrality.
In the second half of the year, a 'Green Technology Finance Center' will be established to exclusively handle carbon value assessment and the Korean green technology classification system, K-taxonomy evaluation. Kibo introduced the carbon value assessment guarantee in 2022 and has expanded support based on carbon neutrality by implementing the taxonomy evaluation guarantee in 2025 after developing the taxonomy compliance evaluation model in 2023. With the establishment of this center, Kibo plans to strengthen the spread of carbon neutrality and green finance support.
