[Financial News] Samyang Foods announced on the 24th that products like 'Samyang Ramen' and 'MaepTaeng' are gaining popularity at the food zones of Seoul Hangang Park swimming pools and water parks.
With the onset of the heatwave, the number of visitors to Hangang swimming pools, a popular urban summer destination, is increasing, and the sales of Samyang Foods in the food zones are rising by 10-20% every week.
Currently, outdoor swimming pool food zones are operating at a total of 6 locations, including Yeouido, Jamwon, Ttukseom swimming pools, and Jamsil, Yanghwa, Nanji water parks, where broth-based ramen like Samyang Ramen and MaepTaeng are popular among visitors looking to enjoy the heat after water activities.
Especially, MaepTaeng has sold out faster than expected, leading to the addition of a third batch of stock. Jjajjaroni has been well-received by children and family visitors, selling out within an hour of opening.
All Samyang Foods products are sold at a discounted price of 1000 won.
Additionally, Samyang Foods is enhancing visitor convenience by providing colorful parasols, sunbeds, tables, and drum standing tables, and has set up photo zones at each swimming pool to allow visitors to enjoy both relaxation and photo opportunities after swimming.
A representative from Samyang Foods stated, "We plan to expand the brand experience by preparing play elements to beat the heat and prizes that can be used at the swimming pool."
Meanwhile, the Hangang swimming pools operated by Seoul City will be open until August 30.
