Chairman Khalaf said, "With a 157-year history, MetLife has been providing substantial value to customers through a wide range of financial services and supporting more people to prepare for a secure future," adding, "As interest in healthy living increases with rising life expectancy, MetLife is contributing to the enhancement of the health lifespan of Korean customers based on long-standing expertise and innovation."
MetLife Life Insurance, the Korean subsidiary of MetLife, has announced its ambition to become a 'Top 5' life insurance company in the domestic life insurance industry by 2029. Chairman Khalaf emphasized that Korea is already one of the top 5 markets within the entire MetLife group, and that the rich experience of MetLife Life Insurance, which has been providing customer-centric solutions such as the integrated services 360 Health and 360 Future covering the entire life cycle from health management to retirement planning, has well met the needs of Korean customers.
Additionally, Chairman Khalaf emphasized that MetLife's efforts to create a work environment where collaboration and diverse perspectives naturally blend lead to high performance. In fact, 22 MetLife affiliates worldwide, including MetLife Life Insurance, were selected as a 'Great Place to Work' last year.
