[Financial News]  Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine announced on the 24th that it conducted the '2025 Jaseng Medical Academy Summer Internship Program' for two weeks from the 7th to the 18th for foreign medical students and pre-med students.
This program was attended by 11 students from major medical schools around the world, including the University of Arizona in the United States, Imperial College London in the United Kingdom, and Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) in the UAE.
For two weeks, students experienced the medical system and treatment methods of Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine firsthand, broadening their knowledge of Korean medicine and integrative medicine.
This internship program consisted of clinical observation at Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine (observing medical and treatment processes, understanding patient management), lectures and practice in integrative medicine (herbal acupuncture, Chuna therapy, motion acupuncture), and more.
Additionally, they visited the Jaseng Medi-Bio Center and the Korean Medicine Museum to directly experience the historical background and scientific development of Korean medicine.
In particular, from the second week of the program, 12 students from major Korean medicine universities in Korea, such as Kyung Hee University, Dongguk University, and Pusan National University, participated in the internship.
As a result, a total of 23 multinational students conducted cross-border team projects and enhanced their academic capabilities and international communication skills through various practices and presentations.
Jin-ho Lee, Director of Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, said, "The Jaseng Medical Academy Internship Program is designed to enhance the awareness of Korean medicine and integrative medicine among future global healthcare professionals and support their growth into global medical talents," adding, "We will continue to enhance the global competitiveness of Korean medicine through ongoing international exchanges and education."
