Special Investigation on Rebellion, Search and Seizure at Former Prime Minister Han Deok-soo's Residence... Investigation into Martial Law Support

[Financial News] The special investigation team on rebellion and foreign affairs (led by Jo Eun-seok) has launched a search and seizure against former Prime Minister Han Deok-soo.
According to the legal community on the 24th, the special investigation team has sent prosecutors and investigators to the residence of former Prime Minister Han in Jongno-gu, Seoul, starting from 8:30 AM today, to conduct a search and seizure.
This forced investigation comes 22 days after former Prime Minister Han appeared before the special investigation team on the 2nd and was questioned for approximately 14 hours.
Former Prime Minister Han is suspected of supporting the 12·3 martial law proclamation by former President Yoon Seok-yeol.
The special investigation team believes that former Prime Minister Han signed a 'post-martial law proclamation document' created after the end of martial law and then ordered the document to be discarded. It is believed that this was an attempt to retroactively address procedural flaws in the martial law.
