[Financial News] Lotte Chemical Group recently held the '2025 Leadership Summit' at the Lotte Human Resources Development Center in Osan, Gyeonggi-do, targeting executives and team leaders from affiliates such as Lotte Chemical, Lotte Fine Chemical, Lotte Energy Materials, and Lotte Aluminum.
According to Lotte Chemical Group on the 24th, in-depth discussions were held on the theme of innovation from a business perspective and strengthening core competencies at the event held on the 22nd.
In the morning session, management status and strategic directions were shared, followed by a lecture on business innovation by an external expert. In the afternoon, a special lecture by Lee Young-jun, General Manager of Lotte Chemical Group, continued. Particularly, a roundtable discussion on management innovation implementation plans and leadership roles was held with the participation of key CEOs of the chemical group.
In the special lecture, the General Manager emphasized, "Now is the time to shift the business perspective to focus on customers and the market," and "We must continuously discover new business opportunities based on our fundamental capabilities."
He further encouraged, "Leaders must become ambidextrous, balancing creativity and efficiency," and "Even in an increasingly uncertain management environment, let's trust in our competitiveness based on organizational trust and fulfill our responsibilities."
Meanwhile, Lotte Chemical Group plans to regularly operate leadership communication programs to share management strategies and organizational innovation directions.
