[Financial News] There is a rapid increase in professionals using shared offices as new work bases. From solo lawyers to accounting firms with 1,200 members, regardless of size, they are moving into FastFive, establishing shared offices as professional workspaces.
FastFive announced on the 24th that the number of occupancy contracts for the eight major professional groups in the first half of 2025 reached an all-time high. The number of contracts increased by 65% compared to the second half of 2024. Major professions included lawyers, accountants, labor consultants, legal consultants, tax consultants, patent attorneys, appraisers, and customs brokers.
The average occupancy period was 1 year and 5 months (528 days). It varied from short-term contracts of 2 months to long-term use of 7 years (2,556 days), and the proportion of renewals was also found to be high. The flexible structure that can be adapted to the needs of each industry is analyzed as the background for the spread.
The average number of users was 4.7 people. The scale varied from solo lawyer offices to single firms with 282 people. Some large accounting firms utilize FastFive as a base office with up to 1,200 people.
The most active locations for occupancy were Gangnam Branch 5 (21 cases), Gyodae Branch (20 cases), and Euljiro Branch 1 (18 cases) in order. All are located in Seoul's core commercial districts, tailored to the characteristics of professionals who have many external meetings. By profession, lawyers were the most numerous, followed by labor consultants, legal consultants, and accountants.
The increase in professional occupancy is attributed to the operational environment and space utilization efficiency as major factors. FastFive has equipped some branches with independent meeting rooms and access security systems for professional clients who require confidentiality, and provides the necessary infrastructure for office management in a comprehensive manner, allowing tenants to operate without separate management personnel, which is seen as a strong point.
Kim Dae-il, CEO of FastFive, said, “This data is significant in that FastFive is being chosen as a practical work base across various industries, not limited to specific sectors,” adding, “We will continue to enhance the professionalism of space configuration and operational services so that customers can focus on their core business.”
