[Financial News] Hurom is attracting attention for its various activities to encourage children's proper growth, such as promoting vegetable and fruit intake. The plan is to support a healthy life for future generations through nature-friendly education and programs to form healthy eating habits.
According to related industries on the 24th, Hurom, together with Green Umbrella, is conducting a social contribution project with the themes of △health △children △vegetables and fruits for the third year this year. Last year, they created a garden using the idle space on the rooftop of low-rise residential areas, operating an experiential social contribution program where children can increase their familiarity with vegetables.
This year, in collaboration with the Rainbow Art School at Seoul Children's Hospital, they are operating the 'Vegetable Playground' education program. Hurom operates alternative curriculum classes every week for children at the Rainbow Art School, including garden nature experience play, nutrition education, healthy juice extraction, and cooking class programs. They provide nature-friendly education to support the formation of healthy eating habits and cultivate ecological sensitivity.
Recently, Hurom also signed a business agreement with Inje University to prepare a program to improve vegetable and fruit intake eating habits for children at daycare centers in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, for the healthy growth of children. Through this agreement, they plan to operate a vegetable and fruit intake program to improve children's eating habits, targeting daycare centers in Gimhae, where Hurom's headquarters is located.
In addition, since 2022, Hurom has been operating a 'Vegetable and Fruit Research Institute' at KidZania Seoul, a children's job experience theme park where children can experience various professions through experience and play, conducting activities to form healthy eating habits for children.
Hurom has been continuing activities to support children's healthy growth since declaring the vision of a 'health company' in 2012, centered around CEO Kim Jae-won.
