[Financial News]  To revitalize the stagnant cinema industry, the Korean Film Council is conducting a national movie viewing promotion project "Theater, Take Care of Summer!" and Lotte Entertainment is supporting it with a concession discount promotion.
According to Lotte Entertainment on the 24th, their summer tentpole movie 'Jeonjijeok Dokja Sijeom' can be viewed at a discounted price of 6000 won starting from the 25th. The Korean Film Council will distribute 6000 won discount coupons from 10 a.m. on the 25th, available for 1 person, 2 tickets per cinema.
The discount coupon is valid until September 2. You can download the discount coupon on a first-come, first-served basis from the event page on the websites and applications of the four multiplexes: CGV, Lotte Cinema, Megabox, and CineQ, and apply the discount through online booking.
For independent art cinema, small cinemas, and other theaters, the discount can be applied on-site without any restrictions on the number of people or tickets from the 25th to October 31st, and the online discount coupon follows the same validity and ticket restrictions as the four multiplexes.
Especially, if the 'Culture Day' where you can watch movies for 7000 won on the last Wednesday of every month is applied, the existing 'Culture Day' ticket price of 7000 won plus the government support discount of 6000 won allows you to watch movies for a cheap price of 1000 won.
Lotte Entertainment plans to offer a surprise concession benefit to those who book 'Jeonjijeok Dokja Sijeom' using the Korean Film Council's 6000 won discount coupon on a first-come, first-served basis. This event will run from the 25th until supplies last.
The movie 'Jeondoksi', based on a webtoon of the same name, is a fantasy SF genre implemented like a game, with spectacular visual effects, making it a perfect movie for a cinema vacation.
