KOSPI, Strong Consolidation at 3170 Due to Foreign and Institutional Buying [fn Afternoon Market]

[Financial News] The KOSPI index is showing strong consolidation due to buying by foreigners and institutional investors.
As of 2:04 PM on the 23rd, the KOSPI index is trading at 3177.41, up 0.24% from the previous trading day. The KOSPI, which started at 3189.65, up 0.62% from the previous trading day, turned downward in the early session and showed weak consolidation throughout the morning, but succeeded in turning upward in the afternoon.
In the stock market, foreigners and institutions are net buying 147 billion won and 420.7 billion won worth of stocks, respectively. On the other hand, individuals are selling 619.9 billion won worth of stocks.
Most of the top market cap stocks are on the rise. In particular, Hyundai Motor (7.26%) and Kia (7.98%) are showing a sharp rise, and LG Energy Solution (1.35%) and Samsung Biologics (1.73%) are also rising. On the other hand, Hanwha Aerospace (-2.17%) and KB Financial (-0.17%) are weak.
By industry, metals (1.96%), transportation equipment and parts (1.515), electricity and gas (1.02%), and transportation and storage (1.10%) are rising. On the other hand, paper and wood (-2.38%), IT services (-1.98%), and securities (-1.91%) are weak.
At this time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 813.70, up 0.09% from the previous session.
In the KOSDAQ market, individuals are buying 184.1 billion won worth of stocks. On the other hand, foreigners and institutions are net selling 51.9 billion won and 105.3 billion won worth of stocks, respectively.
