Creator Achieves 100 Million Won in Revenue... Naver Officially Launches 'Shopping Connect'

[Financial News] Naver officially launched the creator affiliate solution 'Shopping Connect' on the 23rd. Shopping Connect is a newly added affiliate solution to Naver's creator affiliate specialized platform 'Brand Connect', where smart store operators and creators collaborate to promote and sell products, sharing revenue based on sales performance.
Unlike typical affiliate models, Shopping Connect allows sellers to autonomously set everything from affiliate products to revenue share ratios according to their strategies. Creators can also transparently check the revenue share ratio for each product, enabling efficient affiliate marketing, according to Naver.
During the beta service operation period from April to June, Shopping Connect also showed positive effects. According to Naver, more than 520,000 products were linked to Shopping Connect, and they confirmed significant advertising effects, such as achieving significantly higher sales compared to the platform usage fees paid by sellers. They also confirmed that creators achieving over 100 million won in revenue appeared, proving that this model can practically generate revenue.
With the official launch of the Shopping Connect solution, Naver supports any smart store operator to utilize the Shopping Connect solution. As various types of creators such as bloggers, clips, and Chijijik are active on Naver, they can issue links to products that highlight their expertise and individuality, creating content and continuing revenue activities.
Naver supports creators' smooth content creation and effective revenue generation by providing data analysis tools that easily check the settlement process and performance analysis, including a creator-exclusive dashboard.
Additionally, Naver plans to continuously enhance the solution to closely connect with various vertical services. For example, since introducing the Shopping Connect dedicated sticker function to clips in May, Shopping Connect inflow through clips increased more than fourfold in June.
Since the opening of the Shopping Connect beta service, interest in the 'Brand Connect' platform has increased, with the total number of affiliate campaign registrations growing by about 270%, and the reward scale provided to creators expanding by over 670%, continuing to grow together.
Kim Sun-min, leader of Brand Connect Planning, said, "Shopping Connect is establishing itself as a new growth engine for creators by allowing them to select links to products in categories that highlight their individuality on channels operated by creators such as clips and blogs, creating content and generating additional revenue," and "After the official launch of Shopping Connect, more smart store operators and creators will participate, leading to more diverse affiliations and collaborations, and we will strengthen comprehensive support to ensure that sellers and creators can generate revenue more stably."
Meanwhile, to celebrate the official launch of Shopping Connect, Naver is conducting a reward promotion for a month. First, users who complete simple missions such as receiving product links or publishing review content will be provided with up to 30,000 Naver Pay points, and up to 1 million points will be provided based on sales amount and quantity.
