[Financial News] BC Card announced on the 23rd that it is holding an event to provide Paybook Money to customers who pay with Paybook QR at overseas merchants. Recently, BC Card completed network connectivity to allow payments with domestic Paybook QR at 'Prompt Pay' QR merchants in Thailand through a partnership with 'NITMX'. As a result, BC Card customers can easily scan QR codes to make payments at merchants with the Prompt Pay logo in Thailand. Also, in neighboring Malaysia, payments using Paybook QR are possible in the same way through integration with the local easy payment company PayNet's QR payment brand 'DuitNow'.
To commemorate this partnership and offer special benefits to tourists visiting Southeast Asia during the summer vacation season, special benefits are being offered. Until the 31st of next month, rewards are provided to customers who make payments above a certain amount with Paybook QR at offline merchants in Thailand and Malaysia.
The event is on a first-come, first-served basis, and 3,000 Paybook Money will be credited to the first 3,000 customers who make payments of 200 baht (approximately 8,500 won) or more in Thailand during the period. The same benefit is provided to the first 1,000 customers who make payments of 25 ringgit (approximately 8,100 won) or more in Malaysia.
