Defense Acquisition Program Administration and Agency for Defense Development, "Support for K-Defense Industry, Operation of Integrated Korean Pavilion" at Türkiye Defense Exhibition

[Financial News] Our country will operate the 'Integrated Korean Pavilion' at the international defense industry exhibition 'Türkiye IDEF 2025', strengthening marketing support for small and medium-sized defense companies.
According to the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and the Agency for Defense Development on the 23rd, this year's IDEF, held in Istanbul, Türkiye from the 22nd to the 27th (local time), will see participation from defense companies from over 80 countries worldwide, including NATO member countries, as well as our country.
Six small and medium-sized defense companies will participate in the local Integrated Korean Pavilion to promote exhibition products and conduct export consultations. In particular, the government will actively promote the Korean defense industry and support networking between our companies and government and corporate officials from major countries, including Türkiye, to support entry into the global market.
This Integrated Korean Pavilion is the third, following the UAE IDEX in February and Malaysia LIMA in May, and the government plans to operate an integrated pavilion at Poland MSPO in September and USA AUSA in October.
Kim Tae-gon, Director of International Cooperation at the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, emphasized, "We will continue to operate the Integrated Korean Pavilion effectively to actively support the global expansion of K-Defense and strengthen the export competitiveness of our small and medium-sized defense companies."
From this year, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration has integrated the existing government promotion pavilion and the small and medium-sized enterprise pavilion organized by the Korea Defense Industry Association into the Integrated Korean Pavilion, and is actively promoting K-Defense marketing with the government and companies together.
In addition, the Agency for Defense Development, which has strengths in overseas market research and analysis, has been selected as the project operating agency, and the Korea Defense Industry Association, with rich experience in communication with defense companies and operating overseas exhibitions, has been selected as the operation support agency to carry out K-Defense support activities.
