10 Samsung Products Selected as 'Green Products' by Consumers

[Financial News] Samsung Electronics announced on the 23rd that 10 products, including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, TVs, and smartphones, were selected as '2025 Korea Green Product of the Year' by the non-profit civic group Green Purchase Network. The Green Product of the Year is selected by experts and consumers who directly evaluate the environmental improvement effects of the products. Experts from over 20 consumer and environmental groups nationwide and more than 300 consumers participate as voters to select products with environmental and commercial value.
Among Samsung Electronics products, home appliances such as the Bespoke AI Combo, Bespoke AI One Body, Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max Refrigerator, Bespoke AI Dishwasher, and Bespoke Cooker Direct Oven were selected. Additionally, five products including the Neo Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode (QLED) 8K, Samsung Color E-paper, high-resolution monitor Viewfinity S8, Galaxy S25 series, and Galaxy Book5 Pro were also selected. The Galaxy Book5 Pro also won the popularity award given to products that received many votes among the Green Products of the Year, achieving a double crown. 
The all-in-one washer and dryer Bespoke AI Combo provides an efficient washing and drying experience with features such as 'AI Custom+', 'AI Blanket Course', and 'AI Detergent Auto Dispense' using AI. The Bespoke AI Hybrid Kitchen Fit Max Refrigerator applies AI Hybrid Cooling technology that operates efficiently according to the situation. Normally, the compressor cools, and when strong cooling is needed, the Peltier element operates together to increase energy efficiency.
The Neo QLED 8K, an AI TV that allows easy access to various information through natural conversations, won the Green Product of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. This product automatically adjusts the TV brightness according to the room's lighting and user activity, and features 'AI Saving Mode' that reduces power consumption by analyzing the content on the screen.
Samsung Color E-paper is an ultra-low-power display that applies ink technology to digital paper, consuming almost no power while maintaining the screen, and significantly reducing energy consumption compared to existing digital signage when changing the screen. The Galaxy S25 series expanded the use of recycled parts, including recycled materials in all external parts for the first time in Galaxy smartphones. The Galaxy Book5 Pro applied optimal technology for long battery life, extending the usage period.
