CEO Lee Ji-hyo, Speaking with Meta Engineer
[Financial News] Semiconductor company Pado announced on the 23rd that it will deliver a joint keynote speech with Meta on the theme 'Expanding the Boundaries of Storage: Next-Generation SSD for AI Data Centers' at the semiconductor exhibition 'FMS (Future of Memory and Storage) 2025' to be held in Santa Clara, Silicon Valley, USA, from August 5 to 7 (local time).
This joint keynote speech will feature Pado CEO Lee Ji-hyo and Meta's hardware systems engineer Ross Stenfort, who will present innovative solutions for next-generation 'Solid State Drives (SSD)' that align with the era of artificial intelligence (AI) data centers.
In particular, this keynote speech will include content sharing Pado's achievements over the past 10 years and its vision for the next 10 years, marking the company's 10th anniversary. CEO Lee Ji-hyo is expected to present Pado's technology roadmap and mid-to-long-term strategies to respond to the AI era.
The FMS exhibition is an event where leading semiconductor companies from around the world participate en masse. In particular, it is the largest single event in the SSD industry, including NAND flash memory semiconductors.
Pado plans to actively strengthen partnerships with existing clients and discover new ones by operating a large exhibition booth at this event. The booth will showcase Pado's main product, the 'PCIe 5.0' based SSD controller, along with next-generation strategic products like the 6th generation controller.
In particular, through the exhibition and demos of innovative technologies such as 'FDP (Flexible Data Placement)', which dramatically increases the lifespan and performance of enterprise SSDs, and 'QLC (Quad-Level Cell)' for ultra-high-density storage required in the AI era, solutions optimized for AI data centers will be introduced.
Additionally, the business model 'Flex SSD', which can effectively respond to the construction of customized SSDs, aims to discover potential clients as well.
CEO Lee Ji-hyo said, "Through technological differentiation and customized solutions, we plan to meet the industry's demands for low-power, high-efficiency optimization in the AI era," adding, "Through this exhibition, we will leap forward as a key company leading the next-generation AI data center storage ecosystem."
