According to Walt Disney Company Korea on the 22nd, 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' has confirmed its December release and unveiled its poster for the first time.
In 2009, 'Avatar' caused a syndrome with its innovative technology, attracting 13.33 million viewers domestically and grossing a global box office revenue of 2.92371 billion dollars (approximately 4.051 trillion won), maintaining the number one spot in the all-time worldwide box office rankings for 16 years.
The second installment, 'Avatar: The Way of Water', released in 2022, grossed a global box office revenue of 2.32025 billion dollars (approximately 3.2181 trillion won), ranking third in the all-time worldwide box office rankings and recording 10.8 million viewers domestically.
The third installment, 'Avatar: Fire and Ash', unfolds a world view completely opposite to the previously presented stories, hinting at an unknown aspect of 'Pandora' and raising expectations. In particular, the character 'Varang' of the ash tribe leaves a strong impression. The intense gaze of 'Varang', who seems to burn everything in the swirling embers and ash, arouses curiosity about how he will meet the 'Sully family'.
