[Financial News] Connectwave, which operates the price comparison service Danawa, announced on the 22nd that it held the '2025 First Half Danawa Hit Brand' and 'RTX 50 & Danawa Popup' events at Seoul Seongsu Portal on the 19th and 20th.
This event was a place where Danawa introduced the hit brands it announces every half year offline, and allowed consumers to directly experience the latest products based on the 'RTX 50' series. The event was a success with about 1500 people visiting on the 19th and 20th.
Visitors were able to directly examine and experience various products selected as hit brands, as well as demonstrate laptops, monitors, and gaming gear equipped with the RTX 50 series to experience gaming product performance.
On the first day, the Danawa Hit Brand event showcased major products selected based on first-half consumer purchase data. Visitors could directly experience the products, compare the unique features of each brand, and receive various prizes through on-site events.
On the second day, the Danawa Popup continued. Brands such as Intel, MSI, HP, and Asus participated to showcase the latest products like laptops, monitors, and gaming gear. They provided product explanations and experience opportunities to those who visited the site.
A Danawa representative said, "The fact that about 3000 people visited despite the bad weather shows the interest of both consumers and the industry," adding, "We plan to continue to present brand experience events that expand the contact points with consumers in the future."
