[Financial News] LG Electronics' Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) TV has secured first place in TV performance evaluations by leading consumer media in 14 countries worldwide, once again proving its solid leadership in the global premium TV market.
According to industry sources on the 22nd, the American consumer media Consumer Reports recently awarded the highest scores to LG OLED TVs in all screen size categories, including 70-inch and above, 65-inch, and 55-60-inch, where OLED TVs are being launched. In particular, the 77-inch LG OLED Evo product was praised as "one of the best TVs you can buy," highlighting its color accuracy, deep black expression, and unlimited viewing angle.
Major consumer media in Europe, the largest market for OLED TVs, also recognize LG OLED TV as the best product. The British consumer media 'Which' gave the highest score to the 65-inch LG OLED Evo. The Italian consumer media 'Altroconsumo' praised the 65-inch LG OLED Evo for its "top-level picture and sound quality, boasting excellent performance and an overall sophisticated and perfect product," awarding it the highest score.
In addition to North America and Europe, Australia's consumer media 'Choice' highlighted the 65-inch LG OLED Evo's excellent user interface, well-balanced picture quality, and detailed sound as advantages, giving it the highest score.
Consumer media in each country purchase products directly from the market without support from manufacturers and conduct independent and fair evaluations, earning high trust from local customers. Additionally, LG OLED Evo is receiving top scores from consumer media in France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Finland.
Since launching the world's first OLED TV in 2013, LG Electronics has maintained its global No. 1 position for 12 consecutive years, consistently showcasing the most advanced OLED TV technology through relentless technological evolution.
Jung Jae-cheol, Executive Vice President of LG Electronics' MS Research Institute, stated, "The strict evaluation results from consumer media around the world prove that LG OLED TV is the best OLED TV," adding, "We will continue to lead the premium TV market with advanced technology that delivers excellent picture quality in any viewing environment and content." soup@fnnews.com Lim Soo-bin Reporter
