BC Card Forms Strategic Partnership with AI Search Startup 'Liner'

[Financial News] BC Card announced on the 22nd that it has signed an agreement with Liner to combine both companies' artificial intelligence (AI) platforms to promote various collaborations.
Liner is an AI search service that provides highly accurate information based on reliable sources.
The signing ceremony was held at BC Card's headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, on this day. Key officials from both companies, including BC Card President Choi Won-seok and Liner CEO Kim Jin-woo, attended.
Through the agreement, the two companies plan to closely cooperate in launching various 'AI-oriented services,' including △joint service development based on AI △launch of customer-tailored services using data analysis △planning of new services applying AI technology. AI-oriented services refer to services where customers can request desired information in natural language without complex menu manipulation, and AI understands and provides personalized results.
BC Card is currently operating the 'eat.pl' service, which utilizes real-time payment data on Paybook. The service analyzes and provides information such as △real-time business status of merchants △peak hours △gender and age group of visiting customers △nearby merchants visited after payment.
Choi Won-seok, President of BC Card, said, "The background of this agreement is to create new AI services by combining Liner's AI search technology, which is verified in the global market, with our domain expertise," adding, "In the future, BC Card will continue to launch innovative AI service models and lead the market through AI-related business initiatives."
