[Financial News] Hanil Cement and Hanil Hyundai Cement announced on the 22nd that CEO and Chief Safety Officer (CSO) Oh Haegun visited the Yeongwol plant of Hanil Hyundai Cement in Gangwon-do on the 21st to conduct a heatwave response campaign and carry out on-site safety inspections.
In this campaign, heatwave response items worth a total of 8 million won, including ice cream, drinks, ice scarves, and cool sleeves, were distributed to 750 employees and partner company staff. CSO Oh Haegun emphasized, "During heatwaves, it is essential to take at least a 20-minute break every 2 hours," and advised, "Please pay special attention to body temperature management and hydration."
After the campaign, a CSO meeting and on-site safety inspection followed. During the meeting, they listened to safety improvement suggestions and difficulties from on-site workers, shared recent industrial accident cases, and conducted safety education.
Subsequently, CSO Oh Haegun and employees toured the production facilities and construction areas to preemptively inspect risk factors.
Hanil Cement and Hanil Hyundai Cement operate 'CSO Safety Inspection Day' annually at 23 business sites nationwide. They aim to foster a voluntary safety culture and improve the work environment effectively.
