[Financial News] Doosan Construction has been selected as the contractor for the 'Myeongjang 2 District Redevelopment Project' in Dongnae-gu, Busan Metropolitan City.
According to Doosan Construction on the 22nd, this project involves constructing 1137 apartment units and auxiliary facilities in 11 buildings with 3 basement floors and 34 above ground floors in the area of 300-55 Myeongjang-dong, Dongnae-gu, Busan. The total construction cost is approximately 382 billion won, and the construction period is 43 months from the start date.
The area is within walking distance of Myeongjang Station and Seodong Station on Busan Metro Line 4, and Dongnae Station and Haeundae Centum City can be accessed within 10 minutes by car. It is evaluated as a high-preference residential area due to its educational districts such as Yongin High School, Daemyeong Girls' High School, and Myeongseo Elementary School, as well as its abundant green and living infrastructure.
Doosan Construction has recently won various projects in succession, including the eastern urban public housing complex project at Seoul Banghak Station and Ssangmun Station, and the 'Gocheok-dong Industrial In-apartment Reconstruction' in Guro-gu. The current order backlog is about 10 trillion won.
A Doosan Construction representative said, “We would like to express our gratitude to the union members who trusted and chose us,” and added, “We will do our best to enhance the satisfaction of the residential environment through excellent product development and sincere construction.”
