Kim Min-jae, Vice Minister of Public Administration and Security, visited the Korea Local Information Development Institute on the 21st to inspect the operation of the 'Livelihood Recovery Consumer Coupon' payment system, which began accepting applications that day, and encouraged the staff.
Vice Minister Kim focused on inspecting the operation of the system that determines payment by verifying consumer coupon application information received from community centers, card companies, and local currency companies against the recipient database (DB).
To prevent system overload at the initial stage of application, a weekday system will be applied during the first week of application from the 21st to the 25th. Based on the last digit of the birth year, applications can be made on Monday for 1 and 6, Tuesday for 2 and 7, Wednesday for 3 and 8, Thursday for 4 and 9, and Friday for 5 and 0.
From the 26th, online applications can be made regardless of birth year.
Vice Minister Kim emphasized, "Considering that 68.2% of applicants applied during the first week when the National Support Fund for Coexistence was distributed in 2021, we must ensure the initial stability of the system."
He continued, "We will thoroughly prepare to quickly respond to any situation that may arise during the consumer coupon application period and maintain the stability of system operations until the end."
