Declaration of Cooperation for Advancement to a First-Class Integrity Organization by Labor, Management, and Audit
【Financial News Naju=Reporter Hwang Tae-jong】KEPCO KPS, a company specializing in power equipment maintenance, announced on the 21st that it recently held a '4 Major Corruption Cleanup' declaration ceremony at its headquarters in Naju, Jeonnam, together with labor-management-audit (labor union, company, audit office).
The declaration ceremony was prepared to fundamentally resolve the four major corruption vulnerabilities selected as △ dissatisfaction with personnel compensation △ lack of communication culture △ distrust in corruption control △ dissatisfaction with trading companies, and to embed a culture of integrity in daily life.
The ceremony was attended by major executives and union members, including President Kim Hong-yeon, Union Chairman Kim Jong-il, and Standing Auditor Lee Seong-kyu, who signed an agreement with labor-management-audit on the main theme of 'Joint Practice of 4 Major Corruption Cleanup', and the labor-management representatives jointly read the '4 Major Corruption Cleanup Declaration', reaffirming their commitment to advancing to a first-class integrity organization where fairness and integrity are a part of everyday life.
The declaration includes specific contents such as △ establishing a two-way integrity communication culture where senior positions take the initiative for organizational culture improvement △ improving the corruption control system through activation of corruption reporting and enhancement of ethical standards △ strengthening the fairness of the contract process and internal control system for the spread of fair trade culture.
Starting with this declaration ceremony, KEPCO KPS plans to promote various integrity policies, such as establishing 'Integrity Connection Group', a communication channel for integrity by class to fundamentally resolve the four major corruptions, publishing an integrity pocketbook for trading companies, and strengthening anti-corruption integrity education for senior executives company-wide.
