[Financial News] Naver announced on the 21st that it will start the accelerator program 'Roundup League' to support and nurture brands that are expanding their business or preparing for global entry.
This program aims to support brands entering the business advancement stage to explore additional business models, expand into global markets, and adopt advanced technologies, which are realistic challenges they face.
In the 'Roundup League', a group of experts with deep experience and capabilities in platform business, including Naver, venture capital (VC), accelerators, and investors, will participate as an alliance.
Naver will share its experience and know-how on applying AI solutions and technology expansion, while the alliance group will consult on business strategies based on expertise, such as setting IR indicators, data-driven investment attraction strategies, and strengthening intellectual property (IP) branding.
On the 17th, 20 brands started their first networking with investors at Naver 1784 building in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. Participants included brands with global expansion potential, such as cosmetic brands, vegan desserts and plant-based beverage brands, and lifewear brands.
Jinman Shin, Naver Impact Synergy Leader, said, “Brand originality, which grows a brand with its own philosophy and vision, can be a driving force for ecosystem diversity and an asset for brand success,” and added, “We will actively support brands that have sufficient potential and capabilities but face difficulties in boosting up due to lack of network, capital, or methodology.”
