Kim Geon-hee Special Prosecutor, 'Kobana Contents Sponsorship' Heerim Architects Office Raid

[Financial News] The special prosecutor team of Kim Geon-hee (Min Jung-gi Special Prosecutor) has launched a raid on Heerim Comprehensive Architects Office (Heerim), known as a sponsoring company of Mrs. Kim Geon-hee.
The special prosecutor team has been conducting a raid since the morning of the 21st at Heerim located in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, sending prosecutors and investigators to secure evidence such as data inside PCs and various documents.
This raid is reportedly related to allegations of solicitation involving the Unification Church and Geonjin Beopsa Jeon Seong-bae's Cambodia Official Development Assistance (ODA) project. Geonjin Beopsa Jeon Seong-bae is suspected of having received a diamond necklace, Chanel bag, and other gifts for Mrs. Kim from Yoon Young-ho, the former worldwide head of the Unification Church, during April to August 2022, and delivering them to Mrs. Kim. The special prosecutor team is continuing its raid on the Unification Church from the morning of the 18th.
In June 2022, when Yoon's solicitation took place, the government increased the limit of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) loan support to Cambodia from 700 million dollars to 1.5 billion dollars.
The special prosecutor seems to be examining the connection between the 'Geonjin Beopsa Solicitation Allegations' and Heerim. It appears to be investigating whether Geonjin Beopsa Jeon knew about the relationship between Heerim and Mrs. Kim and made the solicitation.
Heerim is known as a 'sponsoring company of Mrs. Kim' by sponsoring exhibitions organized by Kobana Contents, which was operated by Mrs. Kim, three times, and was also in charge of the relocation of the presidential residence.
