[Financial News] Sampyo Group held a safety activity best practices competition to enhance employee safety management capabilities and awareness.
Sampyo Group announced on the 21st that it held a safety activity best workplace award ceremony for the first half of this year at the Ima Building in Gwanghwamun, Seoul on the 14th.
'TBM (Tool Box Meeting)' is an activity where all workers gather before work to confirm work details and share and check work procedures and methods, resolving potential risk factors in advance and being an essential element in establishing a safety culture on site. Sampyo Group held this award ceremony to prevent industrial accidents in advance based on the establishment of a proper TBM performance culture at business sites, the discovery of key potential risks, and thorough safety measures.
The award ceremony was held in the order of the first half TBM competition and the safety and health inspection best workplace awards. The TBM competition awarded honors in the following categories: △Aggregate (Grand Prize: Yangju Business Office) △Remicon (Grand Prize: Yeoncheon Business Office, Excellence Award: Yangju Plant, Encouragement Award: Gwangju Plant) △Mortar (Grand Prize: Incheon Mortar, Development Award: Sejong Mortar).
The safety and health inspection best workplaces are △Aggregate (Yeoncheon Business Office) △Remicon (Gwangju Plant, West Busan Plant, East Seoul Plant) △Mortar (Incheon Mortar), etc.
