 Jeonnam Wando-gun announced on the 21st that it is holding a half-price discount event for tourist taxis to facilitate tourists' convenience in celebration of the '2025 Visit Wando Year'.
 According to Wando-gun, this event is designed to allow tourists from other regions to comfortably visit major tourist attractions and hidden spots in the Wando area while reducing economic burden. Taxi drivers accompany the tourists, providing explanations of the attractions and guiding the travel route.
 Wando tourist taxis are available in Wando-eup, Gunoe-myeon, Sinji-myeon, Gogeum-myeon, and Yaksan-myeon, which are not island areas but part of the Cheto region, with a maximum capacity of 4 passengers.
 The fare is 50,000 won for the basic 2 hours, 70,000 won for 3 hours, 100,000 won for 5 hours, and 140,000 won for 8 hours, and tourists only need to pay 50% of the fare.
 Tourists wishing to use the Wando tourist taxi must make a reservation by phone at least 2 days in advance.
 A representative from Wando-gun said, "In addition to the half-price event for tourist taxis, we are also conducting various events such as the Wando Healing Pay, where you can receive coupons or points worth up to 210,000 won depending on the amount spent, if certain conditions are met during the Visit Wando Year, so we hope many will visit Wando."
