Food Delivered Through Yongsan-gu Food Bank Market Center
HDC Hyundai Development announced on the 21st that it donated 5 million won worth of food to the Yongsan-gu Food Bank Market Center located on Hangang-daero in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the 18th. The event held on this day was attended by Song Jae-woo, head of Yongsan-gu Food Bank Market Center, Park Young-ran, director of Yongsan-gu Office's Welfare Support Bureau, Kim Kyung-won, secretary-general of Yongsan Welfare Foundation, and Do Gi-tak, executive director of HDC Hyundai Development.
This social contribution activity was prepared as part of a tailored sharing activity conducted since the beginning of this year for the Yongsan-gu community, where the headquarters of HDC Hyundai Development is located, to provide practical help to neighbors experiencing difficulties in living due to the heatwave.
An HDC Hyundai Development representative said, "In this record-breaking heat of summer, we have put our heart into ensuring that marginalized neighbors can spend Boknal healthily," and "In the second half of this year, we will continue to pay more attention to the welfare blind spots in the community and continue ESG activities that coexist with the community and fulfill social responsibilities."
Meanwhile, HDC Hyundai Development has been conducting various social contribution activities centered on Yongsan, where its headquarters is located, such as improving the residential environment of grandparent-grandchild families, volunteering at animal shelters, and conducting community-linked campaigns.
