The goal of this project is to enhance efficiency and accuracy by digitally transforming the support for the Supreme Court's court work. The 'KT Consortium', centered around KT and including LBox, Konan Technology, and MT Data, will jointly carry out the project for approximately four years.
The KT Consortium was selected as the final contractor for the project, recognized for its proposal of a customer-tailored multi-large-scale language model (LLM) lineup, including KT's 'Trust:um 2.0' based legal-specialized language model, LBox's commercial legal tech AI operational know-how and specialized services, and Konan Technology's data search and labeling technology, among other legal-specialized AI capabilities.
KT will design and construct the overall AI platform to support court work for the Supreme Court, including a legal-specialized AI model, AI search services based on judgments and laws, automatic extraction and summarization of court issue points, and support functions for drafting judgments.
The Supreme Court expects this project to resolve trial delays and improve work productivity, leading to innovation in judicial administration AI transformation (AX). In the future, KT plans to expand its B2G (business-to-government) and B2B (business-to-business) AX business based on its self-developed Korean AI model 'Trust:um 2.0', starting with this Supreme Court project.
