This civil complaint best practices sharing forum was prepared to discover excellent cases of civil complaint handling to improve citizen inconvenience and to create a civil complaint environment that reflects social values.
At the event held at the Gangwon Provincial Office on the 17th, more than 100 officials related to civil complaints from the province and cities and counties attended, and presentations were made on six excellent cases selected from civil complaint best practices submitted by 18 cities and counties.
Among them, Wonju City's case of 'For More Vulnerable People! Faster! More Kindly! Introducing Voucher Taxis for Customized Transportation for the Transportation Vulnerable' was selected for the Excellence Award.
Wonju City introduced voucher taxis to disperse the demand for transportation for the transportation vulnerable and reduce waiting times in a situation where there was a continuous demand for additional vehicles and complaints due to the increase in the use of special transportation means. This has greatly improved convenience for users and received high praise from citizens.
