Incheon Namchon Agricultural Wholesale Market, Summer Closure on 27-28

【Financial News Incheon=Han Gapsu Reporter】 Incheon Namchon Agricultural Wholesale Market announced on the 21st that it will temporarily close on the 27th and 28th for the summer vacation season.
This temporary closure was decided as the four wholesale market corporations (auction houses) within Namchon Agricultural Wholesale Market voluntarily reported their closure.
Accordingly, the auction transactions of the wholesale corporations in the fruit and vegetable sections will be suspended on the 27th and 28th. During this period, purchasing agricultural products will be impossible, and normal operations will resume from the 29th.
Unlike the fruit and vegetable sections, the food material section, where livestock products and food materials can be purchased, will operate normally independently of this closure.
The Namchon Agricultural and Livestock Products Wholesale Market Management Office is announcing the closure schedule on the wholesale market website to minimize confusion among shippers and market users, and each wholesale market corporation is actively informing shippers and merchants using text messages, faxes, banners, etc.
The Namchon Agricultural Wholesale Market operates according to Incheon city ordinance, designating every Sunday, two days including New Year's Day, and three days including Lunar New Year and Chuseok as regular holidays.
Kim Jeonghoe, head of the Namchon Agricultural and Livestock Products Wholesale Market Management Office, said, “We expect this temporary closure to be an opportunity for distribution workers to recharge.”
