Plans to provide additional support after emergency assistance

[Financial News] Kwangdong Pharmaceutical recently announced on the 20th that it is providing emergency support of over 10,000 bottles of drinking water to areas affected by record-breaking heavy rains, including Chungcheong, Jeolla, Gyeongsang, and Jeju regions across the country, and plans to provide additional support. This support is carried out through the 'Healthcare Food Pack' program in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Korea National Council on Social Welfare, and the company's own support.
The supported beverages are delivered to flood victims taking shelter in temporary housing facilities through the Korean Red Cross and local relief agencies, to be used as drinking water substitutes. Further support will be provided sequentially to other affected areas.
A representative from Kwangdong Pharmaceutical said, "We hope to provide some help to the flood victims struggling with the sudden heavy rain," and added, "We will continue to provide substantial support to areas in need."
Meanwhile, Kwangdong Pharmaceutical has consistently engaged in relief activities by delivering its products to disaster sites. In March of this year, it provided emergency support of beverages to residents affected by wildfires in the Sancheong, Uiseong, and Andong regions, and in 2023, it also provided emergency support of beverages to flood victims in Gyeongbuk and Chungnam regions.
