【Financial News Pocheon=Kim Kyungsoo Reporter】 Due to the heavy rain that fell at dawn on the 20th, damage continues in Pocheon following Gapyeong in Gyeonggi Province. It was confirmed that the Naechon-myeon area suffered significant damage.
As of 8:40 AM, the daily accumulated average precipitation in Pocheon City recorded 138.45mm. Especially in Naechon-myeon, 94mm of rain per hour poured down, with the accumulated precipitation reaching 254mm. The heavy rain warning in Pocheon has now been lifted. 
Due to the heavy rain, the trail around Sanjeong Lake is completely closed. Soil erosion occurred around the Jinmok Tunnel area in Gasan-myeon. Flood damage also occurred at a factory near the Jinmok-ri gas station.
The section from Gojangchon Samgeori to Seopa Intersection in Naechon-myeon was closed due to soil erosion and road flooding, and some residents near the Education and Culture Center were isolated but all evacuated safely. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported in the entire Pocheon area.
A Pocheon City official said, "We will mobilize all administrative power for rapid damage recovery," and "We will do our best to conduct thorough safety inspections of the affected areas and prepare to prevent additional damage."
