[Financial News] On the 19th, a national-level fire mobilization order was issued for the first time in Sancheong County, Gyeongnam Province.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, a national fire mobilization order was issued for the entire Sancheong County area as of 1 PM on the 19th.

The national fire mobilization order is a system that mobilizes personnel and equipment nationwide when a massive disaster occurs, making it impossible to respond with the local fire capabilities alone.

As of 3 PM on the 19th, record-breaking heavy rain of 632㎜ is pouring in the Sancheong area, causing various landslides and flood damages.

In Buri Village, Sancheong-eup, 3 residents are missing after being buried in soil, and in Naeri Village, 1 resident lost their life due to a landslide.

The Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters switched to a level 2 response system from 11:25 AM on the 19th, conducting rescue and evacuation support operations for affected residents in the Sancheong area, where a full evacuation order has been issued.

With the issuance of the national fire mobilization order, the disaster response in Sancheong County will be directly commanded by the Fire Commissioner. Additionally, fire personnel and equipment from nearby metropolitan cities and provinces such as Chungcheongbuk-do, Chungcheongnam-do, Daegu City, and Gyeongsangbuk-do will be dispatched to support.
