[Financial News] Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) revised the southern region train operation plan again on the 19th.

On this day, KORAIL announced that it would completely suspend the operation of the Gyeongbu Line regular trains between Dongdaegu and Busan and all trains on the Gyeongjeon Line between Dongdaegu and Jinju starting at 11:38 AM. Meanwhile, the Gyeongbu Line KTX connecting Seoul and Busan will maintain normal operation.

Initially, KORAIL planned to resume operation of all sections, including the Gyeongbu Line regular trains, Jeolla Line, Janghang Line, Seohae Line, and Chungbuk Line, from 10 AM on this day. However, due to continued heavy rain in the southern region, the operation plan was readjusted.

A KORAIL representative stated, "Train operations may be suspended or slowed down depending on weather conditions," and urged passengers to "check the real-time operation status through KORAIL Talk or the website before boarding."
