[Financial News] On the 19th, Jeong Cheong-rae, a candidate for the Minjoo Party of Korea's party leader, declared at the 8.2 National Convention Chungcheong Region Circuit Election held at the Yeouido Democratic Party headquarters that "prosecutorial reform, media reform, and judicial reform will be swept like a storm and completed like a flash" and announced his intention to become a strong reformist party leader.
Candidate Jeong stated at the Democratic Party's 8.2 National Convention Chungcheong Region online speech meeting that "I will score reform goals as a frontline striker and block all incoming arrows as a goalkeeper at the rearmost defense," adding, "I will lead the political situation as an all-round player dominating the game."
Regarding prosecutorial reform, Candidate Jeong expressed his determination by saying, "I will bring the happy news that the prosecution office has been abolished on the car radio news on the way home for Chuseok."
Candidate Jeong further emphasized, "There is no victory without a fight and no stability without victory," reiterating the claim that "I will fight, so President Lee Jae-myung only needs to work."
He also stressed, "We are at war with rebellion now," and emphasized that "strong leadership is needed during war." He claimed, "Strong resistance will accompany strong reform, and I will break through it," and "we must maintain the party in a wartime system without letting go of tension."
Candidate Jeong also emphasized supporting the policies of the Lee Jae-myung government. He highlighted, "Economy is psychology and trust," and "the stock market is rising above 3,000 just with the launch of the Lee Jae-myung government." He added, "The party will support the smooth progress of the Lee Jae-myung government's AI powerhouse (A), bio (B), cultural industry (C), defense industry (D), and energy highway (E)."
