【Financial News Muan=Hwang Taejong Reporter】Jeonnam-do announced that it will hold the 'Abalone Event Season 2' until August 31 to continue the enthusiasm for the Hometown Love Donation System.
This event was planned with the meaning of 'Eat Abalone and Overcome the Heat' ahead of the first day of the hottest period of summer.
Jeonnam-do previously raised 8 million won in donations during 'Abalone Event Season 1', with over 600 donors, and more than 250 people who wrote reviews of the return gifts won prizes, receiving great response.
This event is automatically applied when you donate more than 100,000 won to Jeonnam-do Office, order and receive return gifts from Hometown Love e-eum, and write a review.
Kang Kyungmoon, head of Jeonnam-do Hometown Love Department, said, "The abalone event, which received great response in Season 1, was planned for Season 2 so that more donors can enjoy special rewards and benefits," adding, "One heart supporting the hometown will become a force to change the future of Jeonnam beyond simple donations."
Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation System is a system where individuals can donate up to 20 million won annually to local governments excluding their address.
Donors are provided with return gifts within 30% of the donation amount, and full tax credit is given for amounts up to 100,000 won, with a 16.5% tax credit for amounts exceeding 100,000 won. The donations are used for projects necessary for the welfare of residents.
Jeonnam-do boasts the highest level of return gift composition in the country, consistently gaining popularity with over 300 diverse and practical items such as seasonal seafood, eco-friendly agricultural products, and hometown village experience tickets.
Participation in the Hometown Love Donation can be done online through Hometown Love e-eum, Actibooki (Nolgopam), Kookmin Bank (KB Star Banking), IBK (I-ONE Bank), Shinhan Bank (Shinhan SOL Bank), Hana Bank (Hana OneQ), NH Nonghyup Bank (NH All One Bank), and offline by visiting NH Nonghyup Bank.
