[Financial News] The Small and Medium Business Technology Information Promotion Agency has embarked on discovering SMEs.
Gijeongwon announced on the 18th that it held the '2025 4th SME R&D Dedicated Bank Investment Briefing' at Kensington Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, from the 17th for two days.
The briefing was prepared to support the connection with private investment institutions and enhance commercialization possibilities for SMEs conducting R&D in the Yeongnam region, including Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, Daegu, Ulsan, and Busan, in cooperation with Industrial Bank of Korea and Hana Bank.
In advance, 100 companies applied through a recruitment announcement, and after pre-screening based on technology and marketability, 14 companies were selected as the final presenting companies. Companies recognized for their technological prowess in various fields such as machinery manufacturing, bio-health, and digital services participated.
The selected companies held investment briefings (IR) with bank investment evaluators to check investment possibilities. Gijeongwon plans to support 1:1 in-depth consultations between companies and investment evaluators after the IR presentations.
Kim Young-shin, Director of Gijeongwon, said, "We are expanding region-specific investment linkage support so that the innovative technologies possessed by SMEs in the Yeongnam region can lead to actual commercialization results," and "We will strengthen the one-stop support system that continues from R&D to commercialization and investment stages in cooperation with Industrial Bank of Korea and Hana Bank."
