[Financial News] The external commissioned internal reporting system 'K-Whistle' of the Korean Business Ethics Management Institute has been officially designated as an innovative product by the Ministry of Science and ICT, it was announced on the 18th.
The innovative products of the Ministry of Science and ICT are designated based on strict criteria such as technological innovation, public service improvement effect, and commercialization potential, after deliberation by an expert committee.
The Korean Business Ethics Management Institute explained that K-Whistle is the first external commissioned reporting system to pass these procedures, recognized for its technical excellence, public service improvement, and outstanding effect in realizing social value.
K-Whistle, designated as an innovative product, can be easily and quickly adopted by public institutions without separate complex bidding procedures.
K-Whistle is the first external commissioned reporting system developed domestically by the Korean Business Ethics Management Institute, patented in 2007. It prevents the exposure of the reporter's identity through anonymous external independent agency operation and strengthens data security by obtaining the standard grade of Cloud Security Certification (CSAP).
Jae-Woo Nam, Chairman of the Korean Business Ethics Management Institute, said, "With the designation as an innovative product, public institutions can now adopt K-Whistle quickly and easily," and added, "We plan to actively engage in building infrastructure for the spread of ethical management in both public and private sectors."
