[Financial News] President Lee Jaemyung had his first conversation since taking office with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the 17th, according to a written briefing by Kang Yoo-jung, spokesperson for the presidential office.
President Erdogan congratulated President Lee on his inauguration, paid tribute to the restoration of democracy in Korea and the strength of the Korean people, and emphasized that Turkey is highly interested in developing relations with Korea, a long-time ally.
