Dongbu Construction Selected as Preferred Negotiator for '481.9 Billion Won Scale' Public Housing in Uiwang, Gunpo, Ansan

[Financial News] Dongbu Construction announced on the 17th that it has been selected as the preferred negotiator for the 'Uiwang, Gunpo, Ansan S1‑1, S1‑3 Block Private Participation Public Housing Construction Project' ordered by Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).
This project involves the construction of underground 1 floor to above-ground 29 floors apartments and auxiliary welfare facilities on a site area of 100,291㎡ and a total floor area of 245,754㎡ in the S1‑1, S1‑3 blocks within the Uiwang, Gunpo, Ansan district. It consists of a total of 1610 households (659 households in S1‑1 block, 951 households in S1‑3 block) with a total construction cost of approximately 481.9 billion won.
The construction period is 36 months from the start date, with Dongbu Construction leading the project as the main contractor holding a 51% stake.
Uiwang, Gunpo, Ansan S1 district is a strategic site in the government's '3rd New Town Development Plan' aimed at balanced development and residential stability in the southwestern metropolitan area. It will be developed as a future growth hub of the region by expanding self-sufficient functions such as transportation, education, and jobs along with the supply of public housing of various sizes. An eco-friendly design and smart technology will be integrated to create a residential complex that enhances the quality of life for residents.
This year, Dongbu Construction also participated in the △Geomam S-3BL, B-1BL Integrated Private Participation Public Housing Construction Project and △Pyeongtaek Godeok A-12BL, A-27BL, A-65BL Integrated Private Participation Public Housing Construction Project.
