[Financial News] LG HelloVision announced on the 17th that it has published a Sustainability Management Report containing major policies and guidelines on Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG).
This report is characterized by continuously communicating with various stakeholders and capturing LG HelloVision's business vision and contributions to the local community.
LG HelloVision conducted a double materiality assessment for stakeholders to prepare the report. It defined stakeholders into 7 groups, including employees, customers, government, media, partners, local communities, and experts, and reflected the impact assessment on ESG risks and opportunities.
This year, the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) required by the European Union (EU) were proactively introduced to strengthen the reliability of information by aligning the evaluation criteria for ESG management with international standards.
The Sustainability Management Report includes major ESG performances and status for the first half of 2024 and 2025, starting with a message from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), categorized by major issues. The five key issues selected are △Information Security and Customer Information Protection △Customer Satisfaction △Ethical and Compliance Management △Climate Change Response △Community Engagement.
Additionally, it specifically includes LG HelloVision's unique ESG cases such as △Protecting Digital Safety △Enhancing Accessibility for All △Incorporating Diversity into Content △Creating New Value in the Region.
LG HelloVision stated that it introduces activities and achievements contributing to the environment and local communities, and ensures the expertise and independence of the board of directors to establish a stable governance structure.
Meanwhile, this report was prepared in compliance with the latest revised version of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 'GRI 2021'. It was verified by a third-party verification agency to ensure objectivity and reliability.
