[Financial News] KB Kookmin Bank strengthens its cooperation with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance.
Kookmin Bank announced on the 17th that it has signed a 'business agreement to strengthen financial services for foreign customers' with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance.
According to the agreement, foreign workers can inquire and use Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance's Departure Maturity Insurance, Return Cost Insurance, and Accident Insurance, which they are required to subscribe to, through the 'KB Star Banking' app. Also, from the end of this month, foreign financial consumers can easily check the contract details of insurance exclusively for foreign workers in KB Star Banking. The app plans to add an insurance claim function during the 3rd and 4th quarters. It aims to conveniently handle everything from contract inquiry to insurance claim non-face-to-face.
A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "It is to enhance the financial accessibility and convenience of foreign customers," and "We will continuously expand financial services for foreign customers through collaboration."
Kookmin Bank signed a business agreement for mutual cooperation with Samsung Financial Networks (Samsung Life, Samsung Fire & Marine, Samsung Card, Samsung Securities) last year. Accordingly, Kookmin Bank provides banking transactions and financial products/services through the Samsung Financial app 'Monimo'.
