Hana Financial Group Foundation, Hana Multicultural Family Awards Ceremony Held

[Financial News] Hana Financial Group Foundation announced on the 17th that it held the '17th Hana Multicultural Family Awards' ceremony at the Hana Financial Group building in Myeong-dong, Seoul on the 16th. 
The Hana Multicultural Family Awards, officially sponsored by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, was first held in 2009. It was created to encourage exemplary marriage immigrants and to discover and support individuals and organizations that provide practical help to multicultural families.
At the awards ceremony, Lee Seung-yeol, Vice Chairman of Hana Financial Group and Chairman of Hana Financial Group Foundation, Nguyen Thi Thai Binh, Deputy Ambassador of Vietnam to Korea, Edwin Gil Mendoza, Acting Ambassador of the Philippines to Korea, and Vanchai Yunyongcharoen, Minister of the Thai Embassy in Korea, attended.
A total of 13 individuals and 3 organizations, selected through three months of expert evaluation and local inspection, received the honor of the award. The grand prize (Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award) was awarded to Jang Chun-hwa, a marriage immigrant from China. Jang established a village enterprise to help marriage immigrant women settle and become independent. She was praised for contributing to community integration and being a role model for neighbors and other marriage immigrants.
Chairman Lee Seung-yeol said, "I sincerely support all marriage immigrants who play the role of a pillar in maintaining harmonious families, as well as those who strive to open a hopeful future as proud members of the community," adding, "We will continue to work hard to create a world where our society grows together with multicultural families, respects each other, and becomes one."
Hana Financial Group Foundation is a charitable public foundation established in 2005 by Hana Financial Group as the first in the domestic banking sector, striving to practice systematic and sustainable love for neighbors and sharing management in line with the group's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management.
