H Smart Study and H Upcycling Applied
New Concept Residential Service Specializing in Education and Environment
[Financial News] Hyundai Construction is introducing a smart community service combining education and eco-friendliness to new apartments in the Gangnam area for the first time.
Hyundai Construction announced on the 17th that it will apply an AI-based learning support platform 'H Smart Study' and an IoT-based clothing reward system 'H Upcycling' to 'The H Daechi Edelweiss' located in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It is the first time in Korea to introduce learning support facilities and services in the community space within an apartment complex.
'H Smart Study' is a smart learning space exclusively for teenagers developed in collaboration with the edutech company Algorigo. Resident teenagers can analyze their concentration, posture, and study time based on data collected from smart chairs, and proceed with self-directed learning according to customized learning routines suggested by AI. Parents can check their children's learning reports through a dedicated app and can monitor and coach in real-time.
Mental care devices to alleviate academic stress, sharing learning goals among friends, and online-offline linked content are also provided. Hyundai Construction plans to introduce such diverse learning support functions within the complex to develop it into a residential edutech model beyond a simple study room.
'H Upcycling' is also introduced to spread the culture of resource circulation. This service, in collaboration with the clothing circulation system specialist Green Loop, operates through a dedicated collection box 'OTTERY'. When residents put clothes in the collection box, compensation is calculated according to the quality status, and the entire process can be checked through a dedicated app.
A Hyundai Construction representative said, "We plan to continuously expand differentiated smart community services to provide a more advanced residential experience to residents."
