Samsung Electronics announced on the 17th that they will hold various events in collaboration with three professional baseball teams, including Samsung Lions, KT Wiz, and Doosan Bears, using the new foldable products 'Galaxy Z Fold7∙Z Flip7'.
In particular, Samsung Electronics plans to enhance the enjoyment of watching games and boost the enthusiasm of cheering by preparing specialized programs for each team.
From the 17th, Samsung Electronics will operate 'Galaxy Z Fold7' dedicated seats and a 'Galaxy Home Run Zone' at Daegu Samsung Lions Park during the regular season period.
Visitors can experience 'multitasking' by watching baseball broadcasts on the large screen of 'Galaxy Z Fold7' from the rooftop seats where 'Galaxy Z Fold7' is installed and taking direct authentication photos.
It is also possible to experience the 200 million-pixel camera of 'Galaxy Z Fold7' by comparing photos taken after shooting at the baseball stadium with 'Galaxy Z Fold7' and their own smartphones.
In addition, the 'Home Run Zone Event', which presents 'Galaxy Z Fold7' when a home run is achieved in the Galaxy Home Run Zone set up in the left outfield seats, is expected to further heighten the atmosphere on site.
Samsung Electronics will operate experience zones and selfie zones in conjunction with the 'KT Water Festival' period, where you can enjoy baseball coolly with water play at Suwon KT Wiz Park from the 17th to the 20th and from the 12th to the 14th of next month.
Customers can freely use 'Galaxy Z Fold7∙Z Flip7' and 'Galaxy Watch8 Series' in the experience zone, and in the selfie zone for baseball fans, they can take selfies with 'Galaxy Z Flip7' and complete unique photos with the 'generative editing' feature.
The outfield scoreboard of the stadium will enhance the immersion of various on-site events by applying the frame of 'Galaxy Z Flip7'.
Also, on the 13th of next month, a Galaxy Day will be held, and a cheering match will be conducted. Spectators with tickets on the first base side will write their own cheering phrases on a cheering tool in the shape of 'Galaxy Z Fold7' and perform a performance reminiscent of a large card section.
In addition, Samsung Electronics will operate a 'Galaxy Experience Zone' at Jamsil Baseball Stadium on the 23rd and 24th of this month and from the 26th to the 28th of next month.
You can directly experience the 'Galaxy Z Fold7∙Z Flip7' with a light and thin design and the upgraded healthcare features of the 'Galaxy Watch 8 Series'.
Visitors can leave authentication photos with highlight videos of the team they are cheering for against the background of a large screen shaped like 'Galaxy Z Fold7'.
In addition, Samsung Electronics will operate the 'Mascot Victory (Victory Fairy) Selfie' and 'Hidden Photo PICK' programs at Daegu Samsung Lions Park, Suwon KT Wiz Park, and Jamsil Baseball Stadium during the team-specific event period.
At each stadium, you can take selfies with the team's mascot using the 'Flex Cam' of 'Galaxy Z Flip7'. There is also an opportunity to become the main character of the stadium by broadcasting the selfies on the large scoreboard through a draw.
'Hidden Photo PICK' allows you to download baseball-related photos by scanning the 'Quick Share' QR code available on the scoreboard and print them by visiting the print zone within the stadium.
Jang So-yeon, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea Division, said, "We planned this marketing to communicate more closely with baseball fans with 'Galaxy Z Fold7∙Z Flip7' during the hot regular season of professional baseball," and "We hope to create precious memories that will be remembered by sharing passionate cheering moments with the new foldable products."
