[Financial News] As of 5 PM on the 16th, a heavy rain warning was issued for the entire Seoul area, restricting access to 29 rivers in the city, including Cheonggyecheon and Anyangcheon.
Access to four riverside parking lots, including two in Anyangcheon, one in Jungnangcheon, and one in Tancheon, is also restricted.
The city issued a 'caution' level stage 1 alert related to the rainfall situation from 4:30 PM on this day and began emergency duty.
355 city officials and 3,110 people from 25 autonomous districts are on standby for heavy rain.
They inspected and maintained 58 large construction sites and 997 landslide-prone areas, as well as parks, Hangang Park, and hiking trails over two days from the previous day.
Additionally, they inspected 8,000 rainwater drainage facilities, cleaned 1,700 of them, performed 370 maintenance tasks on underground roads, dedicated roads, tunnels, and bridges, and repaired 122 potholes.
The city plans to monitor future weather and river conditions and take additional measures such as operating disaster prevention facilities if necessary.
