This inspection was carried out to minimize damage from heavy rain as over 150-200mm of rain is expected in the central region.
The key is to check the access control of riverside walkways and the resident evacuation system, and to verify the control system for the lower roads of Jeungsan-gyo, which have a history of flooding.
Acting Commissioner Park directly inspected Bulgwangcheon and the lower roads around Jeungsan-gyo in Seodaemun-gu.
He urged, "Please make every effort to respond to heavy rain by closely cooperating with Seoul City and related agencies, prioritizing the safety of Seoul citizens."
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency will continue proactive preventive activities to ensure there are no casualties from natural disasters such as heavy rain.
