19 years of experience at the Fair Trade Commission...'Responding to Fair Trade Risks'
[Financial News] Law Firm Sejong announced on the 16th that it has recruited Kim Gi-su, a former specialist from the Fair Trade Commission, to strengthen its capabilities in responding to fair trade areas.
According to Sejong, Specialist Kim Gi-su spent about 19 years at the Fair Trade Commission, building a career centered on 'investigative work' in various departments such as the Market Surveillance Bureau, Competition Policy Bureau, Corporate Transaction Policy Bureau, and the Seoul Office. He was responsible for investigating cases in various fields such as manufacturing, service, construction subcontracting, and consumer sectors, and held key positions such as in the Competition Policy Division and as a secretary in the Vice Chairman's Office.
Specialist Kim, who obtained a master's degree in Fair Trade Law from Yonsei University Law School, has expertise in fair trade law, subcontracting law, large-scale retail business law, franchise business law, and overall fair trade. Sejong plans to proactively respond to policy changes of the new government based on his practical insight and legal expertise.
Oh Jong-han, Sejong's representative lawyer, said, "As the new government presents 'the establishment of a fair and win-win market order' as a core task, it is expected that regulations on power abuse issues and corporate groups will be strengthened," and added, "We will provide advanced legal services to help companies proactively respond to the new regulatory environment and minimize legal risks."
